I think we all like to think that our high level languages will save us from those pesky errors we encountered when learning how to program in C or C++.

Some definitely will be taken care of, but in the end, experience with and learning about the edge cases of your language is the only thing that can prevent you from writing code that doesn't do what you expect it to do.

For example, I am a functional programming fan boy, and once I was like "damn, these people can't stop writing code with null ref exceptions. What if I introduce them to the option type?"

In the end I just got a lot of questions about why this was a problem... so what do I know?

I don't think read faults are buffer overflows, definitely different things.
Or do I need a HumorFactory?
Is this a joke?
Are there any existing cryptographic algorithms which allow for two keys to un-encrypt a piece of cipher text?
I hate cooking with electricity, can't make a decent stir fry with it, changing the temperature takes a long time. How much of an impact does this make to a person's carbon footprint?

Security topics hidden behind clearances, sounds like security through obscurity to me.
The idea that this is to make life easier for Muslims by allowing them to escape their obligation, is laughable. I suppose we should make it illegal to not eat pork, so they can escape dietary laws. Or forbid Christians from going to church on holy days, so they don't feel guilt when they don't go. Or make it illegal to wear clothes that are spun from one form of cloth, so Jewish people don't feel like they need to wear clothes from one kind of cloth.

People deserve freedom of choice, religion, and clothing. That is the help you need to give people.

Where you go to school doesn't matter, it's what you do once you're there.
Why not all religions?
Where are Chinese military drones killing thousands of people? That's Nato's prerogative

If someone feels the need to tell you they are an unapologetic asshole, I think that's a small dog with a smaller bark.
Do you have evidence of this cooperation? Most stuff I've seen recently around cooperation between China and Google has been in creating a censored version of their search engine.
What military advantage does Google give the U.S. government?
Why not just call your api through something like postman?
Don't humans have faces?
