The root cert aside and with all the other ssl deficiencies all browsers support it! Usability is imo the issue if more than a handful of people need to access the site. RFC6509 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6509 shows crypto independent of any PKI. Implemented running in Javasrcipt and HTML5 as open source www.certivox.org where unlike Diffie-Hellman the key agreement is authenticated. No passwords, usernames... nothing.

Not compatible with FOSS licensing? Sure that may be true for AGPL but BSD is the framework that grants patent rights under FOSS and is precisely the thing to mitigate copyright shortfalls. This is just the EU not being helpful. Again...

Get some magic in your life? Having done 5 start ups in the last 20 years, my observation is most seriously that the magic can be best described as CHANGE. Never mind salary and hours... If you love change and love to drive change it will feel like magic. If you don't you will hate start ups.

There are 3 types of information work: Information Creator, Information Reviewer, Information Approver. It is critical to understand the purpose of each email pertaining to the 3 types and feel empowered to act promptly and effectively accordingly and contactzilla article gives other good tips on dealing with email. Go without it for a whole day? I do! Every weekend 2 days in a row with no email at all. Keeps me sane...

I would agree with NicoJuicy, but in the absence of detailed information it is fair to say that the expectation when starting out is even with repeat entrepreneurs almost always too optimistic. Reality kicks in and costs suddenly are higher, payments further delayed, prices set not right, etc, etc. Startup nation has a great article to avoid some of the pitfalls of not thinking about consistent profitability correctly http://www.startupnation.com/business-articles/1262/1/profit...
Good luck!
