Pose this question to all those drivers I experience on my local highway, with loud mufflers and/or "coal rolling" with their diesels. Is THAT how you want to garner attention from those nearby ? I would say those are a sign of immaturity.
Attempting to steal HN's thunder ? Knowing the NYT's, the ads and the Nag Screens will come shortly.
I listened to the audio. Sadly, an emotional female pilot knowing she was about to crash. From 30,000 ft to ground zero in less than 60 sec, they said.
Curious, are they being hired back at reduced wages, since so many looking for jobs ?
Re:Show HN: HackerTube by Andrej Karpathy on Sunday November 01, 2026 @08:54AM (#50325722)
Seems all videos are from 2 yrs to 20 years old. Does Karpathy have the rights to publish all these under hackertube ? I noticed none refer back to Youtube, just curious.
But does it include visibility underwater for scuba divers ?
What will happen to your accounts when you are gone? Secret Key splits the master password to your password vault among trusted individuals. No single person knows it on their own - only together, at the right moment, can they reconstruct it.

Until one of the "trusted individuals" dies or perhaps is captured and imprisoned by a <hostile regime>, including our own ?

Good time to buy Goog stock now, at a low.
Hi Derek:

I see Bamipine had an excellent response, it is widely known as an H1 antihistamine antagonist (dermal medications), not such a potent antagonist against H1 though.

I am not a biochemist, but did anyone consider testing doxepin ?

It is widely considered one of the most potent histamine H1 receptor antagonists available (don't know if this is even relevant).

An older drug, Doxepin possesses an exceptionally high, subnanomolar affinity for the human H1 receptor, with an in vitro dissociation constant ranging from 0.17 nM to 0.31 nM. It is recognized as one of the most potent H1 antagonists known across any drug class.

I rarely take it, but just a razor sliver of one pill will knock me out so badly I am virtually USELESS the next day.

Re:Patrick Stewart has died on Friday October 30, 2026 @07:56AM (#50302738)
Indeed, Patrick practiced empathy and compassion with a degree of assertiveness while Shatner was more assertive and IMHO his persona became incorporated into the behavior of many American corporate executives on how they dealt with staff.

.. courtesy of a corrupt narco terrorist state exporting lethal poisons to it's neighbor resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. Let the tanks roll, baby, send in the Boy Scouts to finish the job.
Re:The disease that kills us all on Tuesday October 27, 2026 @09:04AM (#50258576)
Prion disease in deer is endemic at least from Northern New Mexico all the way up to and through the Canadian border. Obviously carnivore hunters are at risk.
Re:BYU's Fossil Vending Machine on Tuesday October 27, 2026 @08:54AM (#50258405)
I can recall as a youngster digging for fossils in Texas at a boy scout summer camp on the Blanco river. There were tons of clams and others in the shelf rock.
