As you said in your post:

Not too late to switch to a very similar yet well-improved open-source language that was created and is being actively maintained by same company:

https://github.com/dotnet/roslyn

It's actually sadly even worse for women for another reason - they cannot date "down" for natural psychological reasons and the pool of "marriageable" men is shrinking due to less men getting education (which is perceived as "high-status" regardless of income, unless the latter is unusually high):

Re:Mobile Web Is Top of Funnel, Mobile App Is Bottom of Funnel on Sunday September 27, 2015 @02:10PM (#10287323)
Makes sense. Once I am fully on-board I want the best experience and thus a native app.

Searched for 'parallel' and 'core' on the page - no matches found.
Re:Go Will Dominate the Next Decade on Wednesday September 23, 2015 @03:52PM (#10267680)
It's an obvious desperate attempt to get attention by making a hyperbolic statement. It's sad to see that it is working.

Re:Participating in Open Source on Thursday September 17, 2015 @04:31AM (#10232218)
Do not read it - this guy broke Chrome Angular Batarang extension and refuses to fix it:

However you participate in Open Source, don't handle your community like they do:

That is sure mainstream.

Re:400 days of Go on Tuesday September 15, 2015 @06:18AM (#10219806)
He is just in love with the shiny toy: Go is good, Go doesnt have and IDE => IDE is bad.

I have seen a guy on HN saying that debuggers are bad and logging debug messages is superior :). Future is here, but it is sooo unevenly distributed.

Re:For Silicon Valley Hopefuls, Is College Irrelevant? on Monday September 14, 2015 @04:13PM (#10217193)
As long as the resulting people don't think that graphs are charts, static typing is ceremony and functional programming means programming functionality - everything goes.
Re:Google Chairman Eric Schmidt Invests in SkyTran on Saturday September 12, 2015 @10:25AM (#10208163)
Maybe SkyTran is a good choice for countries without decent roads or an uneven landscape or no obligatory traffic rules?
Re:I'm Begging for Work on Thursday September 10, 2015 @04:55PM (#10200504)
I was trying to guess the reason behind the decision to raise 4 kids in poverty.

Might be a religion thing.
Re:How and why Lyft rewrote its app in Swift on Thursday September 10, 2015 @04:15AM (#10196737)
TL;DR: to gain maintainability at a cost to performance.
Re:Beware of Open Source Software Zombies on Monday September 07, 2015 @04:30PM (#10182917)
A lot of .NET indie games are relying on such a zombie - Farseer. A Box2d clone so full of features and complexity, nobody but the owner can support it. And the owner checked out.
Re:Machines replace migrants as Maine blueberry harvest blooms on Monday September 07, 2015 @04:23PM (#10182892)
No messed up orders, no attitude. I'd rather have teenagers learn something else somewhere else.
Re:Keyboardio – a keyboard for uncompromising typists on Monday September 07, 2015 @04:13AM (#10180526)
Combination of wood and plastic is ugly. They should've made wooden keys at least: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Handmade-Bamboo-Wooden-Wireless-Keyb...
Re:The Effects of Computer Programming on the Brain (2012) on Monday September 07, 2015 @04:12AM (#10180522)
When they say bad programmers they simply mean not as good as them, which is a mean but true and fair thing to say.
Re:Are JavaScript comments useless? on Monday September 07, 2015 @04:09AM (#10180518)
They help to compensate the lacking type system.
Two year release cycles are quick for you?
F# might be succinct but it is most definitely complicated.
It often looks like a mishmash of operators:

bla <- [|bla, bla|] 'bla ''bla |> func bla @@[bla; bla; bla]@@

Microsoft funds F# as a test playground for future C# features.
I will get downvoted for this promptly, but have a look at Reddit Red Pill:

They are giving useful advice as opposed to "just be yourself"

Sub-200 IQ men guessing what a 1000+ IQ man would do :).

Fork it and change it to your taste! Welcome to open source.
Re:MSBuild is going cross-platform with .NET Core on Thursday September 03, 2015 @02:12PM (#10166592)
Cool! How would you build an app for iOS and WinPhone using Kotlin?
Re:Fifty on Thursday September 03, 2015 @09:11AM (#10164687)
iPads are dumbed-down PCs effectively. Even cats can use them for games (to an extent), not to mention humans of any age.
Re:Fifty on Thursday September 03, 2015 @09:07AM (#10164664)
Isn't that hereditary? Isn't it possible to look at relatives and parents and guess own future?
