The decision for Veilguard to have abysmal writing was Biowares.
Tauri on Linux is horrible, but that's due to the poor state of WebKitGTK than Tauris fault.
6G will likely replace 5G rather than 4G.
4G has become the new 2G when it comes to IoT etc.
The "Green" part of "Green Party" refers to the colours of Hamas now.
I mean if nuclear fusion ever becomes commercially viable, you'd be nuts not to support it.
Private hospitals won't even take emergencies.

thermals.
That isn't the kind NFC you think it is.
It's RFID communication with a smart card. The bank would have to transmit keys to your computer to be able to interface with it, which they probably won't want to do for security reasons.
Because this entire movement has gone from being a noble cause to instead spreading FUD.
The amount of misinformation to scare people is alarming.
Sometimes a watch dog, if you don't poke the correct thing regularly the system can think there's been a crash.
I thought it was a slimmed down version of Grok 4.5 or even Composer.
It's not that clever.
Something like this would even be useful for npm etc.
AIs will control humans so we'll be the video game.
Kvrocks is both iirc, since it can cache the rocksdb data in memory.
What's stopping Flatpak from using a LSM to allow on-demand permissions like macOS?
TV licensing is unfortunately notorious for trying to convince people they need to have a TV license when they don't. Their letters mention things such as Amazon Prime, YouTube and Twitch.
How about the BBC actually give me a reason to pay the license fee rather than trying to force me to pay it when watching someone elses (usually superior) content.
If it runs on Chromebooks does that mean Chromebooks can be made into generic UEFI laptops?
This is interesting given Googlebooks actually use the same boot process as Chromebooks, they just chain into aboot.
Arch doesn't sign their kernels but SteamOS it not Arch.
SteamOS doesn't support secure boot, that's probably why.
> Aside from the fact that this is obviously not true (secure boot is possible on Linux, limine/lanzaboote come to mind)
Secure boot is not attestation. It does not provide userspace any guarantee the system booted a secure boot chain.
Secure boot can be bypassed by dodgy firmware (cough cough msi) or the kernel can lie to userspace about the secure boot state.
The moment the UEFI firmware jumps to the bootloader, secure boot is no longer useful.
> Look, if Canonical had one of their keys leaked, I can go and sign my kernel and kernel modules and secure boot just fine as if my kernel is one distributed by Canonical. There are no checks on whether the contents of the kernel are correct
This is literally where the TPM comes into play because your kernels signature would get written to the PCR register and fail an attestation check.
> This is about control over the ecosystem, an ecosystem Epic has spent their years spitting in the face of.
This is just FUD
iOS and Android both have remote attestation services and security coprocessors you can use to establish the integrity of the booted environment.
Desktop Linux has none of that.
> Probably the most egregious. Why am I not allowed to compile my own kernel? Why do I have to get a kernel, and modules, from specific, approved, vendors?
Because your kernel could have the ability to allow a program to modify the game memory and hide the fact it's doing so?
Most Linux users are probably using a signed kernel. I don't think this is as big of a deal as you're making out.
> Why else do you think the "implosions"
Namely by going too far and breaking the law by becoming discriminatory? So now companies are not going to touch DEI.
DEI killed DEI, not Trump.
> such as campaigns to encourage more men to go into nursing, midwifery or teaching be targeted too?
These aren't illegal and have never been the problem.
Discriminational hiring practices and quotas are, unfortunately DEI activists decided to do these.
There's a case going through the courts for Red Hat right now where they based managerial bonuses on how diverse their teams were, which reportedly led to them pushing out white males.
Such should rightfully be illegal.
Huawei managed to get their RHEL fork (EulerOS) UNIX certified. However their certificate expired (probably due to sanctions?)
So legally at one point a Linux was Unix.
Viruses are also not evil, they're just random DNA/RNA strands that natural selection forced to have adverse effects.
Because the depth buffer isn't always accurate or accessible.
WoW goes to lengths to hide its depth buffer.
