Re:Apple introduces the new 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M6 on Tuesday October 27, 2026 @01:24PM (#50262566)
There are rumors that Apple is not releasing Pro/Max versions of the M6 with the intention of focusing these research efforts on the M7 instead.

Even then, 170GB/s is a bump up from 153GB/s of the M5. So we see a 11% uplift already.

To do the math, that would be 5.25 billion euros.
Presumably an AI system would still be held accountable to HIPAA laws.
I’ve seen the intro to an audiobook be used as an ad.

The beginning of “XCF” sounds similar to the beginning of “Exit”.

With “a” vs “an”, the pronunciation is more important than the spelling.

There's plenty of work happening with adapting non evaporative cooling loops for data centers. Maybe that can be applied here too, even if to mitigate some of the cooling needed?
According to a quick google search:

I chopped so much wood that the browser was starting to lag. Thanks for sharing the simulator, it was fun!

Except some people want to win and don't care about their own personal performance.
Disputes between large companies can still lead to extra pressure to reform the DMCA system.

Adding onto this, the Noita Eye messages are a great read for someone who has some spare time:

https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/Eye_Messages

The random numbers seem to be really stable on the first prompts!

For example:

pick a number between 1 - 10000

> I’ll go with 7,284.

They do go into the levels of chemical found. From the article:

"Up to 351 mg/kg of bisphenols detected—35× higher than proposed EU limits"

There is far more data available in the orginal report:

https://arnika.org/en/publications/the-sound-of-contaminatio...

I’m still doing great even with an M2!
There's still a difference when it comes to die size and transistor counts dedicated between the two core types.
Archive.today has several aliases including archive.ph, but archive.org is managed by the Internet Archive and unassociated.
What makes you know this is AI generated? I’m not seeing any obvious signs at first glance.
It's not incomprehensible. Discord makes it so much easier to organize communities than most other platforms.

Telegram, Slack, Facebook, Team Speak, Reddit, GroupMe, nothing really offers the same feature set and ease of setup that Discord does.

But that would produce Firefox.

The goal with these tests is to see if the models can make something new, not just copy an existing solution.

That is the goal, at least.

I’ve used OVH for multiple projects and they’ve been wonderful to work with.

We can wait for that to start appearing in tests or benchmarks first.
I’m currently in Louisville and the smoke trail was visible for miles.

Here’s hoping that anyone injured makes a full recovery.

Re:Apple M5 chip on Wednesday October 15, 2025 @01:21PM (#45595753)
Not quite. The announcement mentions that:

“M5 delivers over 4x the peak GPU compute performance for AI”

In this situation, at least, it’s just referring to AI compute power.

Re:Leaked Apple M5 9 core Geekbench scores on Tuesday September 30, 2025 @01:58PM (#45428851)
Here’s the multi core Geekbench progression:

M1: 8350

M2: 9700

M3: 11650

M4: 14600

M5: 16650 (estimated)

This is assuming an 8% uplift as mentioned. Also nice.

Can confirm. I’m currently on Mint and have used Tello before. They both offer great service.
Just tried that canard on GPT-4o and it failed:

A sequence is easy to verify. Choosing the sequence not so much.

Roughly put that is the certificate definition of being in NP.

BioCLIP won the CVPR best student paper award: https://cvpr.thecvf.com/Conferences/2024/News/Awards

Having talked with Sam, they're working on BioCLIPv2. So expect even better results sometime soon.

To clarify, I was on the medication for six months.

It caused a gut condition that involved nausea, insomnia, and made it difficult to concentrate.

It was also causing me psychologically to feel as if the rug had been pulled out from under me - I didn't know what I was doing anymore.
