I don't think it's dumb, it makes sense to label something that would otherwise intuitively have gluten (like bread) with a gluten free label. It also lets someone who depends on it not containing gluten (or otherwise suffer potentially serious consequences) be confident that someone has checked over the whole manufacturing process to confirm it.

TEXT is absolutely not deprecated in Postgres, which this project is using for its example. It being deprecated by other RDMS seems irrelevant to mention.

I had heard of that but went off the fact that MacOS is still a requirement in the repo readme. Just had a peek in the build.rs and do see the windows target, which is great, Rust could definitely use some more cross-platform UI tooling

Being made with gpui means it's mac-only right? Seems worth mentioning for anyone not familiar with the library and an odd choice if the goal is parity with Helix.

Tbh, I like having both, I find a fuzzy search is faster at finding what I want but a file tree is really helpful for building a mental model of directory relationships in a complex project.

You're right, that's really weird... Initially didn't see that 'cause I don't usually include the '#' in my searches so it just comes up with the colorhexa result (which is clearly more accurate lol)

Obsidian is the first that comes to mind, offline-first but with vault sync is a wonderful experience. Other than that, Tableplus is far above other other database management gui Ive used, Zellij+Helix is a great combo, and I havent used it much I found Godot really intuitive and user friendly.

Great write up, perfect to share with people who want to know what makes Rust tick before/without learning it more thoroughly.

TA is short for teacher's assistant, essentially someone who supports the teacher and students in a classroom, very common in UK schools.
