My 50,000 foot view of the problem is that it is far to easy to obtain a huge sum of money to go to school for a career with no job prospects. My solution would be to factor in degree and ability to repay, making loans much harder to get. Also, I would revoke many degree paths from the ability to get approved federal loans.

If more students approached school like a business investment, where the goal is to cut costs as much as one possibly could. You would then see more people go to community college for general hours and then transfer to a public state school and finish their bachelors degree.

This has been my stance as well. I'm all in on the Apple ecosystem over anything google and have started moving all of my activity off of google. (Firefox, Proton Mail, iOS, Pi-Hole) Google is a top contender of mine for most evil tech company, right behind Facebook.
