I didn't, but I saw a friend go into a week long alcohol session because he wanted to leave academics and couldn't take it anymore...
It must be like a pit fight, but with connections and half truths
Yeah, but until that, we can make a ton of money!
Only? In think that's actually not too bad. Could be worse
I uhhh did that too when I needed money, I had a handler who gave me the stuff and paid me. ( Payment was pretty good)
He talked about the people getting their homework and bachelor's done.
Pretty much crushed my worldview. Cheating is, was and will be rampant.
Nope, not predictable at all.
Because they auto route still your requests, you never know if something costs one coin or a tenth of a coin
And blame the other side lol
I would have thought it's more. Feels like everyone is taking pictures to post. Not to remember
You use AI to summarise it! That's the way to go lol
Damn, beating Kimi k3 is crazy. It produces already a ton of tokens.
But I think the next step will be even more thinking on smaller models. Maybe fine-tuned and we get really crazy stuff
I was wondering the same, and it clearly says : 50% off, aka a sale, not normal price cut.
I don't get this thread.... Really. Is it full of bots?
Are they planning to do something like runware with their containers? ( Sonic inference pod)
Of course, all the latest gains in the latest models are from "thinking" and testing every piece they did.
That's at least my impression. Models didn't get get better, just more thinking and testing and sometimes fixing things you didn't ask for ( hello opus, can you check xxx, opus: I fixed it..)
Next step is a model with 10 GB thinking for ten minutes.
Yeah, I'm not sending personal bills etc to china. No thanks
You need bots on th other side too. Simple
You noticed how the current market is? I don't know what you think how employees should react? They of course will pay what they need to pay to get what they want.
No one will overpay to be nice
Jailbreaks exist and work...
Why would they need to selfhost? They can run it via API ala openrouter or runware or whatever.
Or on runpod with rented gpus or inference.
I used fable to design a front-end, and damn! It's good! Frontend coding is dead. Design in a way also.
And it was damn cheap too! The main page cost was like 5 dollar.
Meh
Models are too big now
Yes, nothing will be as fast as the Nvidia implementation.
Those implementations don't have access to the low level encoding Nvidia has.
There is a rumour, that they did this because of GeForce now, because there never will an open source implementation/ service competition for GeForce now.
Apple already announced that will increase prices.. doubt that Mac studio will stay cheap
I was looking at buying hardware for me and as testing ground to learn. With those prices I just nipped out and will just rent in demand at runpod or so.
Absolute insanity
To late
You either do it, or you are out
Yes
Still cheaper then being jobless or without the bachelor
Wasn't there just a study, that many fat kids are fat because of fruit juices?
Healthy in a way, but surprisingly a lot of sugar ( either added or from the fruits)
Same experience with web search / research, it was bad compared to opus.
Missed half the stuff the other half was outdated/ didn't verify.
What
How?
Which model is behind it?
Yeah. There always will be a gab. And it will keep growing for the next years...
