"And you had people — and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists — because they should be condemned totally"
Re:Permanent suspension of @realDonaldTrump on Friday January 08, 2021 @11:33PM (#25697034)
"Or encouraging those "fine people" in Charlottesville who murdered a woman" is divorced from reality, because it didn't happen

Not heard of half of these but looks like Signal is by far the best alternative

Saying a big protest will be wild is a call for violence now.

Any benefits to switching to ZSH in Catalina? The prompt every time I open the command line is annoying me

Oh I would not be glad, as he holds a very narrow interpretation of the term "reasonable"
Re:UK government advisor caught out by Wayback machine on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @11:53AM (#23312710)
You've been allowed to leave your home from Day 1 of the lockdown and there is no law to say otherwise

Edit: Though under reasonable terms, including exercise and food shopping. If you have only obeying the slogans, which was my point, well that's unfortunate

Re:UK government advisor caught out by Wayback machine on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @07:04AM (#23309577)
Not sure about you, but I certainly don't take a brightly coloured PR slogan plastered on a Tory government podium as gospel
Re:UK government advisor caught out by Wayback machine on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @06:35AM (#23309371)
So no law was broken, just guidance... maybe. Depending on interpretation
Re:UK government advisor caught out by Wayback machine on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @06:10AM (#23309191)
What law did he break?
Re:UK government advisor caught out by Wayback machine on Tuesday May 26, 2020 @06:09AM (#23309184)
He didn't break any law

Yawn
Alright Ted!

Joking aside, I tend to agree

If you suppose methane is "irrelevant" to climate change, like the adviser suggests, that surely implies made-made CO2 contributions are about as relevant.

In this case not very, or irrelevant.

Definitely doesn't sound as humorous when written like that, though I'll clarify as it seems you are asking earnestly

So about as relevant as man-made CO2 contributions to "climate change" then?

The poster should not ask such silly questions, just trust the science!
