I assume avoiding this is the entire reason OpenAI is testing exactly that.
Everyone and everything is for sale for the right price.
In Europe, it’s closer to $400, which is downright insulting for what is essentially a cheap smartphone without a screen or battery.
The 1% just copied all available data without consequence. Yet, Quad9 gets sued and loses.
As long as you don’t say Artificial Intelligence instead of Super Intelligence, you’re all good.
> but a lot of it is legitimately terrible language[1] and API design
Unlike well-thought-out languages like JavaScript, of course.
What's the saying? A programming language is either bad, or no one uses it. Discussions about flavors of bad in well-established programming languages are a waste of time.
Yes, the potential connection is the fact that we now live in the age of AI.
> Everybody who actively watches the topic already has the option to shut down their instances.
In theory. In practice, many can't just decide to shut down their service for a few hours.
Maybe that’s because you’ve only worked with WordPress with tons of unpatched plugins.
Every programming language has security vulnerabilities. PHP doesn’t have any more than others.
I think it works fairly well. Sure, a few players waste a few minutes to hours on the game, but once it has 10 negative reviews that all say it's AI slop, no one will bother to buy it anymore and Steam can rank it accordingly.
Makes me wonder why an EU bank is keeping data outside the EU (from my understanding, only the London data center is down)?
Living in Estonia, I have a hard time deciding how I feel about this voting system.
Currently, with people trusting the government, this system is great. I can just cast my vote online, like I do everything else here, and I can be reasonably sure that my vote is counted thanks to the aforementioned trust in the system.
But I really fear the day that trust erodes.
On the other hand, though, once the trust is gone, I think it doesn’t really matter whether it’s an analog or digital count. People won’t trust the system anyways.
Then again, there’s a lot of nuances and different levels of trust, which is the reason why I don’t know what the right answer is.
You mean prompt their AI to build it for them?
But the cloud is becoming unaffordable as well…
Not an issue for me, the end user.
Then use it with the phone open on the front screen if you care about looking high quality for your friend.
Exactly. That was my point. IBM and Oracle are boring companies. They would consider something like this immature.
Whether “immaturity” is an issue, is a different question entirely.
Would IBM do this? Oracle?
The under-screen camera essentially doesn't matter. For the three times you're in a meeting with it, it'll hold. For everything else, you'll use the primary camera and the front screen.
This has to be rage bait, right? Ever heard of GDPR? How about ICE?
Depends how deeply integrated it is. Cloudflare offers a web application firewall that can quickly become complex, alongside features like custom routing rules, input parsing, custom headers, etc. As soon as you start integrating any of those into your environment, migration becomes more difficult fast.
In my case, the claim was justified. Got a technical response answering my question in detail after half an hour or so.
No I think we all pretty much know we’re screwed, including governments. But what are you gonna do? Pandora’s box is now open. Good luck closing it.
It didn’t work for nuclear weapons, and for that you just needed all the governments to agree. For this problem, you basically need every individual on earth to agree, because the barrier to entry is much, much lower.
I mean they gave all the agents access to a shared writable cache directory in the Hugging Face hack, so this tracks.
If your household consists of more than 15 people consuming 4K content at the same time, the 10G upgrade may be worth considering.
Where does the M6 geekbench score come from?
Yes, I too want the smallest Twitch streamer to have to put their exact home address publicly on the internet so they have no protection from weirdos and stalkers. If a post box would suffice, sure, I'd be down. But that's explicitly not allowed.
But regardless, kinda OT. I was just trying to make a point that ignoring a law isn't without consequences.
