"Silicon Valley Syndrome". Yeah because only people in Silicon Valley suffer from sitting too much...
It took me maybe 3 weeks (3 to 5 hours a day) but I experimented many solutions (APIs, sharing, Vine...). I used RubyMotion and I had prior experience with the iOS environment.
I make enough to buy a Frappuccino from day to day, mostly from a reaction gifs application on the App Store : https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-reaction-when/id632831985...

By the way, all in-app purchases are free today and tomorrow...

I totally disagree. And yes, it is just a logo. Google logo is still looking like it was made by a 10 years old. Sounds like the author is trying to justify his daily rate. Come on. And when big companies pay millions for a logo, it's not just for the logo itself, it's for all the identity of the company. Yahoo! changed its logo but the majority of the people won't even notice.

Is there any scientific evidence supporting this?
The webpage is a monstrosity because of a problem on the back button? Wow, hackernews comments never cease to amaze me when it comes to finding something negative to say.

Could somebody please find Ja Rule so I can make sense of all this?
Half of these answers is common sense, the other half is shitty advice. You can't answer by "yes" or "no". Bad delivery too.
The domain name looks like that of a spam website. You should avoid hyphens when possible.
So in the US you don't have to give explanations? Damn that sucks for the ex-employee. In France you have to write a report in order to fire someone unless they're in their trial period.
Re:Google is up on Friday August 16, 2013 @07:13PM (#6227386)
Hackernews is slowly turning into reddit, except there's only one subreddit you can't unsubscribe from.

Morocco is shown as not having McDonald's, except there actually are 13. On the other hand Algeria has none and is shown as having McDonald's.
Looks cool and all, but $149 for a Bootstrap theme seems a bit overpriced.
Re:_why's complete printer spool as one book [pdf] on Friday April 19, 2013 @06:07AM (#5575779)
"Toutes les grandes amis que je n'ai jamais pu avoir." should be "Toutes les grandes amies que je n'ai jamais pu avoir." or "Tous les grands amis que je n'ai jamais pu avoir." (masculine). And even with the correct grammar, it sounds very awkward. Just sayin'.
Interesting article but every time I read something on RapGenius and move my eyes from the screen, I keep seeing white lines, very annoying. White font on black background is bad. Off topic I know, but still.
Re:Did Rails have a major security flaw today? on Tuesday February 12, 2013 @10:23AM (#5207324)
That's...kind of childish, and mean.
