There is one, uh,
minor drawback:

> Charging under our kernel (the phone only discharges)
:/
Entirely AI-generated websites are whatever at this point but I'll be damned if I lose the fight against AI-generated HN comments. Especially on a Show HN...
It also happens to look ugly AF. Even WhatsApp gets it right.

We should be paying attention to it just in case it ends up mattering enormously. It's cheap insurance.
Aside from that, US labs' system cards have been pretty useless for a while—I think the last great one was the combined system card for Claude 4 Sonnet and Opus.
The specific wording sounded a bit judgy to me as well, but I think it's a totally reasonable question. They're just asking about the capability of a product.
I tried to register a domain like acme.stream through Cloudflare Registrar and it asked me to affirm I had Acme Widgets Corp.'s permission [edit: I might be wrong about this part, since I'm in a totally different niche, but the pop-up freaked me out]. I went with a different domain.
Evan Edinger (who is 35) was addicted to it (see YouTube link).
Oh my God. Oh no. Rest in peace :(
Not really.
Data mining for AI is presumably fair use, whereas when you sign up for a Claude account, you enter into a legally binding contract that says you will not distill a model based on its outputs.
"One color a day, told as it ought to be told: with its provenance, its chemistry, and the people who paid for it in poison." is so Claude it hurts. :'D
I would add "...especially considering this administration thinks AI regulation is a scam invented by Big China to slow down American innovators?"
It came back, died, and now it's back as some kind of weird AI-focused news aggregator.

People must really love PostScript!
Wait, I thought OpenAI had to pay Microsoft until AGI was achieved or something? Am I misremembering? Is that a different thing?
The point is also that you don't have to sign up for AWS, and GCP, and Azure, and Alibaba, and Nebius…
And, more importantly, that you can use the existing OpenAI SDK for your language but swap models (even across providers) by changing one line of code.
You're paying for convenience, yes, but model routers solve a real problem.
Is this the extension that Arc installs when you open DevTools? Not great...
I ain't reading all that, but do you really think it wise to recreate TheFacebook in 2026?
Strangely, reasoning is not on by default. If you enable it, it answers as you'd expect.
I think I read something once about using v7 internally and exposing v4 in your API.
Not super likely, I would say. We knew 5.3 was coming for a while and sama cannot stop talking about the current situation on X.
Using its own TERM is a deliberate design decision. I don't remember how to fix the terminal database, but it's pretty easy (your favorite search engine or LLM should be able to help you there).
I TRUSTED YOU! Nooooooooo!
Anyway, I hope you're happy.
(I thought it would show me a TOS prompt again, but it did not. My bad.)
As the help text explains, you can tap to select or unselect any permissions beyond the basics. (Which are admittedly still quite broad.)
You can also use a PAT but that's already too much friction for me for something like this.
