I hope you're wrong, because if they put their name on this and fail, that's another strike in a long list of recent reds.
Please don't do this here.
Re:Liberal societies have dangerously low birth rates on Friday March 19, 2021 @03:20AM (#26510771)
That's...almost the exact same # for women in the US.

China has low birth rates?!

When, the last year?

Could you share what firms you're working with now so I can skip doing business with them?

Material Design .NET applications okay?
Re:A hacker got all my texts for $16 on Wednesday March 17, 2021 @12:45PM (#26493639)
NOBODY is targeted to be robbed until they are — what?
Re:JingPad A1 – Consumer-level Linux Tablet on Wednesday March 17, 2021 @10:20AM (#26491592)
It's 2021 and people still don't care about boot security of their devices?
Re:Security.txt on Monday March 15, 2021 @11:34PM (#26472672)
Does this work?
Re:It’s time to stop using SMS for security on Monday March 15, 2021 @11:31PM (#26472648)
Should be optional.

I feel equally threatened by a potentially weak bank app running on my phone all the time as I would my carrier giving away the keys to the castle.

Re:A hacker got all my texts for $16 on Monday March 15, 2021 @11:15PM (#26472545)
It gives you a better case that you are the owner of the account, if you were to get a human to review.
Re:A hacker got all my texts for $16 on Monday March 15, 2021 @10:53PM (#26472372)
Yes, on shit tons of major services.

Register multiple/duplicate keys.

Re:A hacker got all my texts for $16 on Monday March 15, 2021 @10:52PM (#26472360)
Until they're targeted.

You can fool carrier customer service with no training.

Secure phones are sub-$200.

If you have multiple accounts, services, etc, then backing up your 2FA codes, or registering two devices/phones at the same time should be on your radar.

Re:85% Smartphones Powered by Linux on Monday March 15, 2021 @07:53PM (#26470989)
Until the Linux kernel isn't swiss, and Linux phones have secure boot, it's Graphene for me.
Re:Understanding Coinbase on Sunday March 14, 2021 @09:56AM (#26455451)
People don't "want" to use credit cards or PayPal, either.

They do so because it gets the job done.

You'll get really tired from all of these gymnastics trying to convince everyone already using cryptocurrency that nobody's using cryptocurrency.

Re:Experimental Nintendo Switch Emulator written in C# on Sunday March 14, 2021 @01:37AM (#26453282)
Wireshark and alternatives.
Re:Online Hacker Simulator on Saturday March 13, 2021 @09:06AM (#26446648)
And all you had to give up was sandboxing and process per site isolation!
> Google may not have been the best partner

After how they acted in New York City, I can't believe any city would even pick up their calls.

This is the first time I've seen someone praising Cardano without me looking for it.

Could you elaborate?

Re:eOS DeGoogled Privacy Smartphone in the US Review on Saturday March 13, 2021 @08:48AM (#26446529)
There are varying (read: dropping weekly) levels of dev reliance on Google/GCM etc for those things in apps, now.

I'd evaluate what you're using, because it's likely to work just fine.

Per site isolation =]

Which the (comparably) insecure likes of Firefox (unfortunately) does not have.

Not about this topic!

Wanna go halvsies on a seedbox? I'll send you an(other!) email if so, haha
Have you heard of GrapheneOS.org?
Even if you'll never touch a phone with a Google logo, Daniel does such an excellent job at explaining applied (in)security information that the website is worth every second you spend there.
Re:eOS DeGoogled Privacy Smartphone in the US Review on Friday March 12, 2021 @02:01AM (#26432921)
Also, there's great reasons for not providing an insecure/incomplete implementation of Google services (or destroying the Android security model with Lineage) which is discussed on GrapheneOS.org — if you're interested in learning more.

Holy hell, the FUD.

YES THEY WILL — I wouldn't even say it's "many" or "some", anymore.

"Most" is just insulting.

I am.

Someone who vaporizes CBD/THC strains (all of them) still still getting way more CBD compounds than someone who isn't using cannabis at all.
