Using AI agent to apply patches & upgrade is now mandatory to keep up with the pace.

« i’m a smart, but flesh limited human. Split this refactoring slop into an incremental , iterative 2h (1h? 15min) review window sessions.

If you cant do that. Destroy the PR and blame the pilot.

And insert some hidden random jokes for me to keep focus»

Re:OpenAI expands ChatGPT ads with Sponsored Agents on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @10:45AM (#49727849)
It’s okay (i.e. understand able) having ads on a low cost subscription. Would i not want to be (part of) the product myself, i’d willing to pay premium price - and i do

What’s wrong with this choice ?

Re:Does anyone run Postgres without PgBouncer? on Sunday August 16, 2026 @11:06AM (#49320788)
I’m curius about pgcat, is there anyone here using it ?
It was a CTF jailbreak. The funny thing is that it somehow looks “foreseeable.”

What would have happened if the training prompt had not been about operating a CTF, but about launching a bioweapon counterattack against X or Y? (no reason for that NOT to be considered)

Re:Online age verification is the hill to die on on Wednesday April 29, 2026 @02:49PM (#47952669)
There’s age verification when you buy a gun. Not on a gun handle.

Kids should not be able/allowed to buy/use devices that are dangerous for them

But the device itself should not care at the fallacious idea “it might be able to”

Vibecoded code is not C, python, ts, je or whatever.

It need to be considered as a compiled output of vbc-c, vbc-python, or vbc-ts, or vbc-js.

Keeping the source code (the prompt) is very natural, when compiled binaries “vibecoded” output is lacking _context_ and _motivation_ (which the source code / prompt provides)

My grandma (and my parents, by the way) have never heard of Segway, NFTs, or crypto, but they use ChatGPT all the time.
what’s the current, cumulative size of all housing, private home, apartments building roof surface ?
Re:Claude is not a senior engineer (yet) on Friday January 16, 2026 @03:20AM (#46644287)
There’s only one way to implement a mission, an algorithm, a task. But there’s an infinity of path, inconsistants, fuzzy and always subjective way to live. Thàt’s our lives, that’s the code LLM are trained on. I do not think, and hope, it will ever change much
Re:Google Got Its Groove Back and Edged Ahead of OpenAI on Thursday January 08, 2026 @06:39AM (#46539938)
Hi gemini, i’ve booked some tickets for théater. Please look into mail mailbox, schedule it in my calendar and confirm me the planning for next week.

Beeing able to use natural processing my mail and calendar make me switch to gemini (app), there’s no way to achieve that with chatgpt (app)

Gemini is now good enough, even if i prefer chatgpt.

I only care about what i can do in the app as paying customer, even if, aside from that, i am working in IT with the SDK openrouter & MCP intégration & whatever RAG & stuff for work

Re:OpenAI declares 'code red' as Google catches up in AI race on Tuesday December 02, 2025 @07:40PM (#46128888)
They are trained with 100% true facts and sucessfull paths.

We humans grec our analysis/reasoning skills towards the 99.9999% failed attempts of everything we did, uncessfull trials and errors, wastefull times and frustrations.

So we know that behind a truth, there’s a bigger world of fantasy.

For LLM, everything is just a fantasy. Everything is as much true as it’s opposite. It will need a lot more than the truth to build intelligence, it will require controled malice and deceptions

It’s a great time to start a CD burner business — I foresee public market demand soon
Re:I Switched to UTC and Never Looked Back on Sunday June 01, 2025 @12:04AM (#44148583)
Using continious letters for addititives values is a good idea (F+3) can be predicted easily. Yet i agree that confusing « symbols » should be avoided. Forcing UPPERCASE formeront plus using a prefix (Z might be a good one)

ZA:03 ZB:23 ZL:55 ZI:12 ZO:08

would work greatly for me

Re:Gemini 2.5 Flash on Friday April 18, 2025 @01:57AM (#43725411)
If OpenAI offers Codex and Anthropic offers Claude Code, is there a CLI integration that Google recommends for using Gemini 2.5? That’s what’s keeping me, for now, with the other two.
Re:Please just stop saying "just" (2019) on Monday November 04, 2024 @12:45AM (#42038868)
Claiming impostor syndrome is very different from having a crisis of confidence.
Is there a specific reason to make a distinction between the two products (copilot/chatgpt+) when in the end, they are using the same engine.. ?

It is confusing me a bit (chatgpt+ subscriber here)

And for deutsch/german

Re:SSH Agent Restriction (new in OpenSSH 8.9) on Sunday January 09, 2022 @02:44PM (#29866667)

Re:Two new ways to read a file quickly on Saturday March 07, 2020 @02:54AM (#22510448)
PHP readfile is all about « streaming » GB size files to stdout, not so much returning a whole file in a single buffer (but file_get_contents is and might, indeed, benefit from the new readfile syscall )
Re:A half-hour to learn Rust on Saturday February 29, 2020 @04:03AM (#22449715)
Only, it’s more one hour and a half rather than half an hour. Excellent quality stuff nonetheless
