I have yet to see anyone releasing a nuanced report on all the metrics involved, everything I've found is short term or incomplete or misinformation, I am neutral, but the matter is complicated, they might pull it off, despite all the misleading marketing and Chinese competition and data center obstacles.
Too much sensationalist reports out there, cherry picked by all sides.

The hater comments and mental excuses by American posters are hilarious.
The usa doesn't value its citizens education unless you belong to the top club and pay, europe is better and eastern europe used to be the best since that was all they had.
This is coming from someone who went through the Swiss (probably was amongst the best in western Europe) and eastern European education systems.
The east math was simply much harder, deeper and on a better level. That is all there is. Look, China is valuing the education of their citizens and they are up and coming fast.

Ha, I took a side gig training ai models and thought let's use my corporate claude account to help with that, somehow it figured out that this was such a gig(probably because I let it read my emails) and said it'll pass on this one.

This is a one sided view and Google captcha will never play along or agree with you. If a web server request is killed at the edge, its usually for good reason. There's other ways around that anyway
