You could ask the author "wardfarnsworth at gmail.com". I have been in touch with him before about his chess website https://www.chesstactics.org based on his book "Predator at the Chess board". He was quite responsive.
Here's a companion website with similar features: https://latinlanguage.org/ for an upcoming book: https://www.amazon.com/Latin-Tamer-Mastering-Language-Rome/d...
Counter-example: https://deephn.org/?q=embeddings Contrast with https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=true&que...

It is fast but, nowhere close to accurate or useful for this specific example. Could not find a way to force the plural form. Neither quotes nor plus worked.

Under https://lichess.org/training on the left side pane there is a "Puzzle Themes" link (takes you to https://lichess.org/training/themes).
I currently use the "Tabs Switcher" menu bar app which works quite well: https://alexdenk.eu/mywork/tabsswitcher.html

Have you looked at this app for inspiration? I'm not affiliated, just a happy customer.

There is an offline version: https://www.diagrams.net (they had to change their name from draw.io recently). There is a download button right on the main page.
MIT Scratch seems to work well: https://scratch.mit.edu Works well on an iPad, even better on the desktop

I would recommend using Apache Tika to extract the text from the PDFs and using Solr (or Elasticsearch) to index and search them.
Go to Settings, scroll down to find the app, and select it. Then you get the "Allow <app> to access" and a list of entitlements, one of which is "Photos". Select "Photos" and you get three options "Selected Photos" (which is what you likely have), "All Photos", and "None". Push "None" and you should never see that dialog again.

I've seen it happen when the machine has both an ethernet and wi-fi connection.
“CSS In Depth” from Manning[0] is an excellent resource to learn how to go from unstyled pages to properly styled ones.

I've used Atomic Parsley[1] and MP4Box[2] successfully for various MOV and MP4 related muxing and metadata handling before.

There is the multi-part ISO-9241 that covers the ergonomics of human-computer interaction. It even provides a definition of usability.
Re:Ask HN: What is your photo backup strategy (on Mac)? on Sunday October 19, 2014 @03:20PM (#8479243)
My photos are very important to me, so i do several backups: 1) The iPhoto Library is rsync'd to an external HDD 2) The iPhoto Library is rsync'd to a local FreeNAS box 3) Arq backup to S3 http://www.haystacksoftware.com/arq/ 4) Crashplan backup to 3 locations: an external drive, a local server (not the FreeNAS box), as well as Crashplan central.

Terabytes are cheap, memories are not.

If you want something more configurable / heavyweight checkout Tsung: http://tsung.erlang-projects.org/

Perhaps could serve as inspiration for future work :)

Re:What Amazon's ebook strategy really means on Saturday April 14, 2012 @06:29PM (#3842161)
Just like they did with Audible. And according to this[1] article on BoingBoing, they promised to do away with DRM, but have still not done it in FOUR years! Link[1]: http://boingboing.net/2008/01/31/amazon-buys-audible.html

edit: they = Amazon
